New Class Coming Soon!

Happy Spring! Three months ago today I arrived after a somewhat treacherous drive in the left over ice on Interstate 35. It’s funny because I was so worried about a blizzard in Utah delaying my departure, but it was an ice storm in Dallas that delayed my arrival. A reminder that the world is ruled by letting things take their course, it cannot be ruled by interfering. (Lao Tzu) No point focusing on the worries of things we cannot control, plant the seeds and allow it all to unfold.

It’s really great to be back in Dallas! It has changed so much, and so have I. It’s an exercise in noticing what there is to notice about this place and myself. I’ve had the opportunity to reconnect with long time friends, spend time with family, and make new friends. Reflecting on this positive transformation and growth as this transition period comes to an end makes me feel joy for the accomplishment and gratitude for all the love and support from friends and family.

NEW CLASS!!! Beginning June 3 at 11am, I will be offering a weekly Mellow Movement & Meditation class in The Carroll Gallery at Art on Main, 4428 Main Street. So excited to be teaching in my old neighborhood in a beautiful sacred space with strong healing vibes surrounded by amazing art by local artists. Bring your mat and water (and maybe a blanket, if you’d like!).

Drop in $25 // 5 Class Pass $100 // 10 Class Pass $150. Soon you’ll be able to book directly through the website for classes and private sessions. Stay tuned.

Like everything else in life, the art changes.

Sturdy Seniors will start in June as well, I hope. Still moving through the City’s machinery. It’s like watching paint dry, so stay tuned. Those classes will be held at a few Rec Centers. They are so much fun, I’ve really missed my Salty City Seniors/Badass Boomers and look forward to getting that started again.

I’m still looking for opportunities with local shops and markets for the malas and other products I make, so stay tuned for that as well!

Also coming soon: Photography + Writing Workshop. Thank you for the inspiration, Shawnee Titus!

I’ll be posting more regularly on the blog, please subscribe! You can also follow me on IG and FB!
